Céline and Justine were leading the organisation of the festival from A to Z! In New York, the organization of the Refugee Food Festival was made possible thanks to the commitment, enthusiasm and energy of these two project holders, their wonderful team of volunteers and UNHCR United States!
The organizers’s quote: “Because food brings joy and is a universal language that brings together people, we think that the Refugee Food Festival is a great way to explain how the culture of refugees is rich and interesting for people. As citizens, we wanted to be a part of this wonderful project, which is an amazing human adventure, made of incredible encounters.”
